You have to ask yourself do you want to be a pioneer, or join an established guild. There are rewards to helping to create a guild vs joing a big one, but it will send u down a harder path no free droks runs, no free gear, an little help for missions. I guess it depends on your personality. I like challenge, so I went the harder path =)

seriously dude, that was severe (i had to go to hospital and have a heart transplant). I would reccommend leaving ASAP (i aint read too mcuh of this thread, sorry). There's guilds out there with 100 active members, all under 4 days!

Or you can get a GvG one with 12 members that are normally active :P

We have a kick policy also, 3 weeks, and out, unless you have given prior notice, or reason as-to why you will be off line for a longer period (or unless your a close real life friend of another member )

I check the guild daily, and anyone over 1 week without notice, I check our forums, and try and contact them.., if they hit 2 weeks, i'll check again etc, at 3 weeks, theyer out...

I would normally kick people who were inactive at around a month if they had not indicated they were taking a break or busy in rl of something. They can always ask to come back. For those people who get involved more and are suddenly absent, I would normally send them a pm or an email and check things are ok...

I would not stay in a guild where everyone is inactive, but things can be improved - it just takes a lot of effort... Anyone in that situation will have to decide if it is worth it or not!

This thread reminded me of a guild I used to be in.

I got pretty lonely in there.

What is the point of a guild if no one is ever there?

next day, a third person logs on, hmm.. noone online, i'll leave it a few days.. log off...

Your guild isnt that bad!.. there just needs to be someone online when these people log on!

Your obviously an officer in your guild so it depends if you want to help revive the guild, or if you want to goto another, more active guild and simply be a member!
OH our problem is this AND the fact that you get 4non talkers on... it doesnt matter how active the roster is, we can't get some of them to talk unless an officer is on

But dude most of those people on the OPs list haven't been on in 2wks or better, so I say leave! And trust me, it's even worse to be in a guild where you and 3members (not officers) are all that are ever on.

That is not as bad as mine as many have been offline for months.I have already kicked a few out and more will follow.I am really skepticla about guild recruitment these days.I really hate training or helping new members out then they leave. This shot was taken a about say 7 months ago or less.

Looks like my old guild.
There was me: Guild Leader: Online
My one officer: Two-three days ago
My two semi-active members: three-seven days ago
My four or five inactive members: two to three months ago

Anyways, I left my guild and joined the one I'm in now. I knew these people for a long time before I picked up Guild Wars (around the same time they did, without knowing it. I started with a different group of friends (who became my guild members mentioned above)), and now I'm one of their members.
Let's just say I have benefits in this new guild I didn't have as leader of my old guild.

So it's up to you, take a chance or try with what you have (God knows I tried that several times to no end).
